Tour Itinerary
The itinerary begins with your arrival at the airport in Tokyo and ends with your transfer to the Kansai airport for your departure home. When making your travel arrangements, please keep in mind that the majority of flights to China from the United States arrive the following day and flights back to the United States arrive the same day.

Arrive in Tokyo |
Upon arrival, meet our local travel assistant who will assist you in boarding a reserved taxi and transfer to your Grand Palace Hotel for rest. |
Day 2
Tokyo |
Take a morning tour to visit Tokyo Tower Observatory, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise Shopping Arcade, Ueno (drive through). The tour will disband upon arrival at Akihabara or Tokyo Station. (The tour guide will tell you how to go back to your hotel.)The rest of the day is free. |
Day 3
Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto |
Take a full day excursion to visit the mountains of Fuji-Hakone, Fuji Visitor Center and Mt. Fuji 5th Station. After a Japanese style set lunch, transfer to Togendai and take the Hakone Ropeway to visit Owakudani Valley. Then, enjoy a Pirate Boat cruise on Lake Ashi. Board a JR super express at Odawara station and head to Kyoto. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in. (L) |
Day 4
Kyoto and Nara |
Enjoy a full-day tour of Kyoto and Nara. Visit Nijo Castle (when closed, visit Ryoanji Temple instead), Golden Pavilion, and Kyoto Imperial Palace (when closed, visit Nishi Honganji instead). After a buffet style lunch, visit Todaiji Temple with Great Buddha, Nara Park, and Kasuga Shrine. (L) |

Today is free for your own exploration of this vibrant city. |
Day 6
Kyoto - U.S.A |
Take a seat sharing van to Kansai airport for the flight home. |

You can choose the land-only option for your vacation, however, including airfare gives you various advantages. Airlines' special fares generally apply to very brief periods, however our low air-inclusive fares apply throughout the year. To get these "Deals" you may have to pay the full airfare at the time of booking.
Airfare is available to passengers traveling from the United States and Canada, and when booked in conjunction with a land/tour vacation. An additional $250 non-refundable deposit is required (i.e., air-inclusive vacation.) However, once your airfare is confirmed and Delta Vacations has received your full air and land deposit, your air-inclusive vacation price is guaranteed. |
